Reia glanced around as she made her way into the club, she was hoping since it was the weekend to catch Ehnvee working... that and she hadn't answered her texts so she thought it was a good chance this was where she was since it was late in the evening. She hoped she was, she had already checked Sals... she did didn't she .. she couldn't remember she was flustered and not feeling so hot today. She was pale and sweating from the walk to the club which was a good 15 minute sprint, and she had to admit that the lights were really hurting her eyes today it wa why she was glad it had been a catch up day and she had been sent home early from work.
Reia moved her way to the bar and sat down putting down some cash " Coke and lime please" she didn't look at who it was she was talking to behind the bar her eyes were looking around the different people as she shook her head trying to clear the headache that had been there for two days.

Ehnvee popped around, wearing her usual black leather dress for her wardrobe. She was behind the bar with another woman who was just getting off. She heard Reia's voice which shocked her. Evee looked toward her coworker and smiled. "I got this, head out."
She watched as the other bartender ran out and disappeared fast. Evee laughed and grabbed Reia's money and smiled. "What are you doing here?"
She poured her coke and topped it with a lime on the rim. Evee pushed it forward. Right before she leaned against the bar two men demanded beers at the end of the bar. They had been up numerous times and had already started a tab. She grabbed two bottles, popped their tops and looked down towards the end of the bar. "Catch!"
Gently but quickly, Evee slide the bottles down to the end of the bar, watching the two men catch them. They cheered for her and then disappeared. She had a moment to spare as she looked at Reia, worried. She was too pale.
 Wearing this, but blonde.

Reia shook her head a little bit as she heard the voice she was looking for, and she would look to her friend her eyes were a bit bloodshot from the lack of sleep, her normally radiant bluish green eyes were overshadowed by the dark bags under her eyes and she would shake her head " I figured I would come see if you were working since I couldn't work today even if they wanted me to "
She looked around shaking her head a little bit " I like that dress on you" she would smile shaking her head as she sipped the coke and lime as it came to her.
" That and I thought maybe on your break if you get one we could talk...I just was concerned about that thing we were talking about, I don't feel like it is but I certainly don't feel well...thought I should talk to you, maybe you would know how much time I have ..cause I don't want to have to miss work constantly for this stupid thing"

Ehnvee could tell Reia was getting really close. The woman was exhausted, and her eyes looked terrible. "Your eyes have been really bad lately haven't they? Well you're not doubled over somewhere so that's good."
She looked around. Where was Iam, he would be able to talk to her about this, wouldn't he? He was a shadow, but he had connections. Evee bit her bottom lip and sighed. She looked around. They were pretty busy tonight. "Yeah, as soon as I can get a break I'll come get you. Here, take this key and head to the back. Go through the employee's only door and at the very back is our break room. Find a comfortable chair, maybe crash on the couch. I'll let everyone know."
Evee handed over a rustic looking old-fashioned key. "Please, just go rest. You really need it."
Evee looked around. She caught one of the working women's attention and motioned for her to come over. "Go get Trez for me, please?"
The woman nodded fast and ran to the back, the same direction that Ehnvee had told Reia to head through.

Reia would look to Ehnvee, shaking her head a little as she downed the rest of her drink " I wasn't sure if it was that thing or not, I just thought it was better to come down incase it was... I figured you would at the very least be able to point out males and if its like you said one would be willing"
She would however nod to the question " Yeah, I haven't turned the lights on in my apartment in almost 2 days... been using those candles I got from the guys at Sals as a thank you at Christmas, those flamless ones" she would shrug her shoulders looking around.
" I know your busy... I am okay to wait till your off " she figured she should put her friend at ease, " I brought money so I can continue to pay for drinks so I can just hang here or in a booth or something" she would shrug her eyes moving to the key that her friend held up.
" Alright" she would take the key and follow the exact directions of how to get there, finding the couch in the back before dropping her body down on to it..

Trez made his way out of his office to head towards the bar since Ehnvee had called for him. On his way he passed a young pretrans, heading towards the back. She had a key, so it wasn't like she was trying to break in. He looked towards her quizzically before heading towards the bar. He walked up to Evee and sighed. "What is she doing back there?"
Evee turned as soon as she heard Trez's voice. He had snuck up on her, knowing her abilities he kept himself closed up around her. "She's my best friend, and she's really close. I am so worried about her. I don't know what to do."
Trez laughed and rubbed his face with his hand. "Shit, Evee. You aren't going to be able to help her, a male needs to."
Ehnvee growled. "I know that Trez! I don't know any males!?"
Trez looked around. There were a ton of male Vampires here, but he knew he wouldn't pick any of them by their looks. A lot of the males that came to the Iron Mask were gothic junkies that needed to get their emo screamo music on. He shook his head and looked back at Evee. "Ev, I don't know what to do either. I can make a call to Rev and see if he knows anyone. I don't hang around too many of you guys anymore that we moved to the Mask."
Ehnvee figured that would be his answer, but she was hoping to the Virgin it wasn't. She cursed under her breath. "Thanks Trez. I'm just worried no one is going to be around, and I'm going to lose her. She's my best friend."
Trez nodded and put his hand on Ehnvee's shoulder. "Go be with her, just in case. I will call Rev later and check. I'll man the bar for now. Go."
Evee almost hugged him, right then and there, but she didn't. He was still her boss. With quick strides she made her way to the back break room, only to find Reia curled up on one of the leather couches. She smiled and walked up, gently turning on one of the side lamps that weren't too bright. She was thankful for the black painted walls. "Reia, are you awake?"

Reia would take a moment but she nodded opening her eyes slowly to make sure she wasn't going to be looking into anything too bright, and she paused " wait, you still have work... you should go do your job, I am not here to make you take time off silly... I just thought I would wait out till you are on break or off " she would sigh feeling rather bad, she wasn't trying to interfere with her friends daily life...they all had bills after all.
With a small movements she moved till she was sitting up and she would shake her head a little, stopping because it made her stomach roll in the less then positive way... she hadn't been able to keep down much food in one sitting so she had taken to snacking throughout the day and it was helping just not as much as she would have liked.
" Seriously, I will just go home and you can call me when you're done this way you aren't worried and you don't have to leave" she would take a breath before putting her energy into getting up as she rubbed her eyes.
Reia stretched till her back made a sicking popping sound and she groaned " that has been needed for a day or two, this tossing and turning is going to kill me by the time I get through this transition...assuming that doesn't kill me also"

Ehnvee heard the popping noise and gagged. "I hate when you do that!"
She laughed and then shook her head. "No, stay! My boss saw you come back here and told me to come talk to you. They are really nice here, trust me. You don't have to worry about me."
Truthfully, her parents had had a lot of money and she really didn't need to work, but she did anyway. She liked making money on her own, but having the secret bank account with money in it also helped keep away the demons that would haunt her if she had to live paycheck to paycheck. She smiled and sat down in a chair so Reia could continue to lay down. "Lay down, and talk to me."

Reia laughed shaking her head ever so slightly " I know and it always seems to time perfectly so that you are going to be right there when it happens...I rather enjoy watching your face with it... maybe after transition they will be louder?" she giggled figuring she would give her something to think about as she dropped herself back into the couch with a groan.
"Oh I have to get me one of these, so much nicer then the couch I have at home...granted that one is old and broken in two spots I am just too cheap to buy a new one " She leaned back finding her comfortable spot again.
" I don't know what to say really... I just I was feeling really bad and I was scared that it might be my transition thingy ... because it has been getting worse and well I didn't want to die in my apartment because I was too proud to come ask you about the unknown... I would have gone to a doctor had I had known where to go for something of the sort"
With a small blush she looked down " and I have been having dreams the odd time I fall asleep, about biting people and other things that you said could come with it and its really starting to freak me out"

Evee smiled. "Don't worry, everyone has those dreams. Just not everyone cracks their back like you do..."
She laughed and then a thought hit her. Havers! The doctor! He would surely know someone, especially if she was close?! "I think I know someone who can help you! Havers, he's one of our doctors. He can help! He is amazing with medicine, be may have someone who can help you. Maybe one of the male nurses will service you for the transition..."
Ehnvee got up and paced. This could work, but would they be able to get there in time? Maybe Reia just needed sleep. "Maybe you just need some sleep? You said you haven't had much sleep right?"

Reia blinked as Ehnvee seemed to go on her own little trip talking to herself, or at least talking about things that she didn't know anything about so she would simply sit there waiting as she paced. Figuring that at the end of the thought train that she might have something to answer or add and sure enough she would nod " I am averaging about 2 hours a night, maybe three if I am lucky"
Reia stretched her knees popping and she grinned shaking her head " The dreams, the soreness, and its like being over tired really I just can't quite seem to get enough right now, the not being able to eat much isn't helping either because I wake up in the middle of the night to eat and then sleep, then wake up again to eat some more "
She would close her eyes rubbing them a little bit " that and there are the times I eat too much and then get sick and it takes hours to feel better afterwards...pretty sure that actually leaves me more tired than not eating."

Evee remembered something that she had had made for her before her transition, because she had been the same way. Her stomach couldn't handle anything. "You need to try white rice with a ginger sauce on top. Seriously, you'll be in heaven."
It was something that worked for pre-trans. She wasn't sure why. "You really need to get more sleep. Maybe if we can get some food in you, you'd be able to sleep."

Reia smiled listening, she hadn't thought about trying anything with ginger sauce on it .. it made sense it was why people drank ginger ale while they were sick to stop from heaving it back up... she should have some at home and she could always pick some up on the way their was that little chinese corner store.
" That's a good suggestion. I think I will head home to try that and give you a call in the morning. With some good food I probably will sleep well and then be able to go to work with no problem"
Reia stood and she would shake her head a little clearly the slight dizziness " seriously go back to work I will text you when i get home so you know that i made it" she would offer a small smile before checking her pockets, yep she had her phone and her card so she could pick up some ginger just incase she was wrong about having some at home.
Reia would give Ehnvee a hug, the key that she had given her to get back into the office space " I'll text you, thank you for everything" she would wave over her shoulder as she headed out not giving Ehnvee time to argue.
*Reia leaves the club*

Ehnvee watched as Reia got up and left. She frowned and took the key, locking the room back up when she left, slipping it into, well, she was wearing a dress so she couldn't really put it anywhere. She held onto it as she made her way back to the bar.
Once at the bar she slipped the key under a hatch and relieved Trez. Would she run into anyone else tonight that she knew?
